Soya chunks with cauliflower curry (left overs)

Another experiment of mine.. When I had few assorted ingredients and didn't know what to do.. Never tried this combination  . But when  I got awesome review from my sister and her colleagues decided to share this experiment. So taking the risk of posting it...







Ingredients 

Onions: 1 numbers

spring onions -2 numbers

Tomatoes:3 numbers

Green chillies :4 numbers

Soya chunks : 1 full cup

cauliflower : medium sized

Ginger garlic paste: 1 Tea spoon

coriander powder :1 Table spoon

Red chilly powder : 1 Tea spoon

Gram Masala : 1 Tea Spoon

Oil : 2 Table spoons.

salt to taste

Preparation:

Cut onion into big chunks

Add  half a spoon of oil in the pan, add onions, green chilies, Saute them in low flame till they turn soft and supple. Remove it from heat and cool it for a while ,Make them a smooth paste . And keep it aside


soak cauliflower in hot water for 5 minutes, Drain the water. And keep cauliflowers a side.


 Soak Soya chunks in hot water for 5 minutes, then wash it in cold water and drain excess water from soya.

Method :

Add one spoon of oil in the pan,add spring onions , onion, tomato and green chillies paste, salt, soya chunks, cauliflower and ginger garlic paste. Cook it for 5-7
minutes

Later add  coriander powder, garam masala and red chillies..

cook it for 5 more
minutes

Your soya  chunks with cauliflower curry is ready to serve .

  1. I am definitely making this one..I love soy chunks and I only used them when I make veg biryani..but this combo sounds yummm...:)
